The Apple Diet requires eating red and yellow kinds of apples. Green apples tend to stimulate appetite and can hardly be an appropriate food for dieting. There are
no dietary restrictions required for this diet. However, it is advised to focus more on eating healthy in addition to eating lesser amount of food. Eating a lot of processed food with apple diet may help you lose weight but it won't be helping you in improving your overall health and wellbeing. People who opt for fresh fruits and vegetables along with the apple diet get greater results as compared to those who don't.

People wanting to start an apple diet are recommended to consult a gastroenterologist first. Also, people suffering from hyperacidity, gastritis or gastric ulcer should
consume only fresh apples and be under medical supervision if they plan on going for the diet.

A detox diet (available from amazon) removes toxins that can lead to weight gain and health problems. We can detoxify our body from pollutants in the environment through the apple diet. The process of detoxification can be done by means of several fruits and vegetables, apples being one of them. The apple detox consists of
three-day detoxification period that works the same way as the apple diet mentioned above. The detox helps clear the toxins from our systems, helps in losing weight and is also good for our skin.

Apple Diet

The apple diet has been around for decades and simply works on one golden rule, ‘Eat an apple before each meal’.

How it works

The theory is that if the dieter eats an apple before each meal, the
fiber will fill them up causing them to eat less during the meal and reducing the tendency towards overeating. When the stomach feels full, there will be little or no desire to keep eating. Moreover, apples contain high level of fiber, which is not absorbed into the intestinal tract. The fiber flows right out of the body and carriers as many fat molecules as it can hold on to along with it. For example, consuming apples with cheese will result in the fat clinging on to the fiber instead of the thighs. The diet can help to lose up to 5 pounds in 3 days.

Apple Diet

The apple diet is mainly popular because of its simplicity. There is no comprehensive diet plan laid out, all we need to do is incorporate apples to our diets. The diet was originally meant to be for a 3 day period. However, there are some variants to the original version of one week, 10 days and 2 weeks. All plans work fine and are recommended.

A few people reported that they have been on the diet for over 40 years and it helps keep their daily diet healthy. The diet helped a lot of people lose weight very quickly. People were also pleased with other positive effects of the diet, such as detox and clear skin. However, there have been instances where people reported that they quickly gained back the weight they lost during the diet as soon as they finished it. As long as you continue with the diet, you'll lose weight but it might not last afterwards. Some people feel the need to munch more often during the diet. It is important to continue eating nutritious food even after the diet ends.
