Yogurt Diet

The Yogurt Diet is a health and weight loss  program developed by a nutritionist, Ana Luque. She recommends consuming three servings a  day in order to aid weight control and to boost good bacteria in our gut. The Yogurt diet, as described by Ana Luque, is based on using yogurt to increase weight loss and restore
body health. According to the writer, yogurt should be added to the menu of detoxifying foods that cleanse the body and restore wellness.

Plan

The diet is mistakenly believed to be completely dependent on the consumption of yogurt. What the book suggests is that the dieter should consume a healthy diet with yogurt on the side. Here is a typical daily menu that is followed when using the yogurt diet:

Breakfast: The dieter is allowed to consume 1/2 cup of warn green or black tea (without any added sugar), along with yogurt jellies (with raspberries) and 1/2 cup of diluted pomegranate juice.

Lunch: For lunch, the diet allows a cup of warm tea, along with a cold soup made out of cucumbers and yogurt. The diet also allows the consumption of a 100 grams of meat (boiled) along with a salad of herbs, cucumbers and tomatoes. There’s also an option for having yogurt and 1/2 glass of diluted pomegranate juice.

Afternoon snack: The diet also allows us to snack on tomatoes with yogurt and still mineral water. However, the yogurt should have a little salt and mustard added to it.

Dinner: For the dinner, the diet lists down the menu of a warm tea along with
200 grams of yogurt and green beans, again with 1/2 a glass of diluted pomegranate juice.

The plan is the same for men and women.

Food

The book also comes with recipes that the dieters can use to make their diet more interesting and fun. The book contains a daily eating schedule in addition to a portion for recipes to try. Here is one of the many recipes shared in the book:

Orange Smoothie

10-ounce natural plain yogurt
